General
I work with young adults (14+) and adults seeking individual therapy. People come for many reasons, anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, life changes, or a desire to better understand themselves. Management of brief or ongoing psychotic disorders (in collaboration with other medical professionals)
Common themes include anxiety, stress, depression, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, self-esteem, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some people come with a clear issue, while others come with a general sense that something isn’t quite right.
The first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and to understand what has brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping for, your current concerns, and any relevant background.
There’s no expectation to share everything straight away, we go at a pace that feels comfortable.
My work is grounded in evidence-based psychological approaches and adapted to the individual.
I draw from a range of therapeutic tools, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness practices to tailor therapy in a way that genuinely fits you.
Sessions are 50 minutes.
There’s no fixed length. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose to work more longer-term. We can review this together as therapy progresses.
Yes. I offer both in-person sessions in Randwick and Surry HIlls as well as online telehealth appointments.
You don’t need a referral to book an appointment.
If you wish to access Medicare rebates, you’ll need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP.
Yes. Sessions are confidential, with a small number of legal and ethical exceptions, which I’m happy to explain if you have questions.
It’s important to feel comfortable with your psychologist. Many people use the first session to see how it feels and whether the approach is a good fit. You’re welcome to ask questions and take your time deciding. I like to start with a brief introductory call to get an intial sense if I am a good fit for you.
New clients can contact me directly through the Contact & Book page. Existing clients can book, manage or cancel their appointment online via the booking system.
For new clients, I usually start with a brief intake call. This is a chance for me to gather some basic information, make sure I’m the right psychologist for your needs, and give you a chance to see if I feel like a good fit.

Yes. Telehealth sessions are available for clients across Australia and are conducted via secure video platform. Telehealth can be a flexible option if you’re unable to attend in person or prefer remote support and still receive the same rebate from Medicare with a valid referral from your GP.
That’s very common. Many people come to therapy feeling unsure or nervous. The first session is a space to explore whether this feels like the right fit for you, there’s no obligation to continue if it doesn’t feel helpful.
